It is important to inspect the coriolis gas flow meter before installation, paying special attention to explosion proof grade labels, warning labels, the flameproof shell, and flow sensor. The grounding terminal and seals for cables and covers should be inspected, along with the condition of connecting cables.
The electrical resistance of the ground line should not exceed 1 Ohm and a copper wire with a section of at least 2.5 mm2 (AWG13) should be used for grounding. Any unused cable entry must be closed with the end cap provided by the manufacturer or a compliant end cap under GOST R 51330.1.
During installation, all explosion-proof surfaces of mounting parts involved in providing explosion protection must be checked for scratches, dents, and chips. Any damages to these surfaces are not permitted as it compromises the explosion protection capability.
