Digital Output

The interface utilized in our digital system conforms to the rigorous standards set forth by EIA/TIA-422-B and the recommendations of RTU V.11, ensuring reliable and efficient networking capabilities for transferring all measured parameters. Detailed specifications of the digital interface can be found in Table 1.6.

Table 1.6 – Digital interface specifications

Digital interface
Standard EIA RS-485
Data transfer protocol Modbus RTU
Data transfer BAUD rate 1200, 2400, 4800, and 9600
Maximum distance 300 m
Data format 8 data bits, 1 start bit, no parity bit, 1 stop bits (default).

Data format can be edited in the menus 30, 31.

Our digital interface is capable of transmitting a range of vital measured parameters including mass (volume) flow rate, mass (volume), density, and temperature of the medium, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data transmission.

In addition to its primary function of data transmission, our digital interface is versatile and can also be utilized for the calibration and configuration of the Coriolis mass flow controller, providing added value and convenience to our system.

The Coriolis mass flowmeter is a highly versatile instrument that offers support for two distinct versions of the Modbus register map.

Register map and description for «TFM» version 2.хх are presented in the Appendix , for «ProLink» version 3.хх – in the Appendix .

Register map version can be selected by ModBus RTU or changing the value of the corresponding Modbus register (see Appendix ) using third party serial port emulators.
